Hi, I’m Zoe!
Founder of Edzocate
I'm a mum of two, a former kindergarten teacher, and the founder of Edzocate Educational Playgroup in Brisbane, Australia.
I hold a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education in Leadership and Management, and for over a decade I've had the privilege of working alongside young children and their families. Today, I facilitate purposeful play with more than 100 families every week through my playgroup.
Over the years, I've realised something...
Parents don't need more ideas.
They don't need another Pinterest board or another Instagram account to follow.
They need someone to simplify what actually matters and give them a plan they can trust.
That's exactly why I created Play Made Simple.
Every activity inside this membership has been inspired by the same simple, purposeful play experiences I've refined with hundreds of families. They're designed to be realistic for busy parents, quick to set up, and genuinely engaging for children.
If this membership helps you close Instagram, stop second-guessing yourself, and confidently think, "Perfect... we'll do this today," then it's done exactly what I hoped it would.
Because when play feels simple, everyone enjoys it more.
I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait to support your family inside Play Made Simple.

One of the biggest goals of Play Made Simple is to keep things... simple.
Most activities use everyday household items and a small collection of open-ended toys you may already own.
Think things like:
• containers and scoops
• blocks or magnetic tiles
• play dough
• crayons or pencils
• toy animals
• recycled materials
• coloured paper
You'll also receive a resource list to help you gradually build a simple collection over time, there's no need to buy everything at once.
The community also has a wealth of knowledge of how other families are adapting the plan to suit their family.
You don’t need to rush out and buy a load of ‘stuff’.

Absolutely!
Many of our families have children of different ages.
Instead of creating separate activities for each child, you'll learn simple ways to adapt the same invitation to play so siblings can enjoy it together.
Less preparation for you, more connection between your children.
-
Most activities take less than 5 minutes to set up.
While some sensory and water play experiences may take a little longer to prepare, you'll never find complicated, hours-long setups here.

Children don't have to complete every activity. The invitation is the important part. Follow your child's interests, leave activities out to revisit later, and remember that play is about exploration, not perfection.
